3-5-01I have the children help make a sandwich. I use bread and sandwich meat. They then take a zoo animal shaped cookie cutter and cut the animal out of the sandwich. They usually eat it all this way. This activity can also be done with many other animals and shapes all you need is a cookie cutter and a sandwich.
2-22-01Lions you can eat! Take a large rice cake, have the child spread peanut butter on it (or get the squeezable peanut butter), use yellow tinted coconut for the mane, raisins for the eyes and mouth - our 2 year olds love this project!
