"I'm a Little Snowman" song (to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot")

I'm a little snowman, short and fat;
Here is my scarf, and here is my hat.
Lumps of coal for eyes, and a carrot nose,
And I'm all ready when the cold wind blows!

(Add motions where appropriate, and finish by making howling wind sounds. Kids love that! This is also fun to do with a flannel board.)

I'm A Friendly Snowman Sung to "I'm A Little Teapot"

I have two bright eyes so I can see (point to eyes)
All the snow falling down on me (flutter fingers downward)
When the weather's cold I'm strong and tall (stand up tall)
But when it's warm I get very small (crunch down low)

Snowflakes Sung to "Sailing, Sailing"

At every circle time, I give each child bells. Then we sing as we shake them:

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the Way,
Oh what fun to shake my bells, On a cold and snowy day,
Oh, Shake them high, Shake them low, Shake them every way,
Oh what fun to shake my bells, On a cold and snowy day!

Here is a song that I sing with my toddlers during the winter months.

"I'm a Little Snowman"

I'm a little snowman, Short and fat.
Here is my broom, Here is my hat.
When it's cold and icy I will stay,
But when it's hot I will melt away!
