For transportation week I got an used bicycle tube from a bike store (usually they are thrown away, so they will give them to you for free). I cut the tube into all different lengths and put it in the sensory table.

Provide your one and two year olds with empty Christmas wrapping paper tubes. Prop one end of the tube up on a small box with the other end touching the floor. Provide the child with a small vehicle that will fit through the tube. Place the car inside the end of the tube that is propped up and watch what happens.
