2-9-01Go on a color nature hunt. Gather different colors from your yard or the school grounds. You do not need bushels to make this rewarding. Each child should have a small bag for their collections. Return to the classroom and sort into like colors. Tape them to a large piece of butcher paper, grouping by color and writing the name of the color (with the same color of crayon) and circling that group. Lots of fun and everyone gets involved in taping and sorting. Very memorable for color identification. My class does this activity in the spring!
