Here in Texas the rodeo is a big thing. Glue a cutout of the state of Texas on construction paper. Tape to the inside of a disposable aluminum pan with a clear plastic cover. Put in three marbles you have dipped in red, white, and blue tempera paint. Put lid on securely. Let the children shake, rattle, and roll the marbles. They love this one. Can be used with lots of other ideas and makes a great splatter painting.
