During circle time hold a toy teapot and teacup and sing the first verse of "Polly Put Your Kettle On." Pretend to pour tea into the tea cup while singing. Then pass the teapot and teacup to each child and substitute the word "Polly" for each child's name. For example "Katie put the kettle on ..." Let the child pretend to pour the tea. Kids LOVE to hear their names sung!
