Mother's Day Gift!

Put white paper all over a large floor area and let the little ones paint their bodies. They can take off their clothes and wear undies or diapers. Have them make colorful prints of their feet and hands. Attach a personal poem and frame for Mother's Day! It was a hit in our class!

Our parents in our center really enjoy watching their little ones grow, so we tend to do lots of hand and foot print art. For Spring or Mother's Day we usually do hand and foot print flowers. Dip the child's hand in the liquid paint and place on powder blue construction paper. This creates your flower and with green paint dip child's foot in to it and place one on either side and bottom of page for leaves of the flower. With a paint brush hold child's hand in yours and help them paint the stem. Please date the back or bottom corner so parents or grandparents can refer back to it when necessary.
