For Hanukkah the children paint 9 of the bottoms of an egg carton and sprinkle glitter on, too. We decorate 9 Popsicle sticks and each into one section. This represents the 8 days of Hanukkah and the 9th helping candle. We send them home, so the children have their own menorah to use on the 8 nights of Hanukkah.
