Cut out a paper groundhog that your toddler has colored (or use a magazine/newspaper cut-out). Glue to the tip of a Popsicle stick. Make a slit in the bottom of a paper cup. Place the Popsicle stick into the slit so that the groundhog is hiding inside the cup and the extra Popsicle stick is protruding out the bottom of the cup. Your toddler will enjoy making the groundhog pop in and out of the "ground" by moving the end of the Popsicle stick up and down. Glue green construction paper to the outside of the cup to make it look like the grass if you wish.
