3-5-01Fruit Salad Have cut up pieces of fruit and layer them with yogurt. Example Strawberries on the bottom then yogurt, bananas, then yogurt etc. Refrigerate for at least 10 min. The children can help place the fruit and yogurt in the layers for the salad. I did this activity and they had fun.
2-22-01Friendship Fruit Salad - for a Nutrition theme have everyone bring in a piece of fruit, use some for painting and some for making a fruit salad for snack time.
Eat strawberries for snack. Talk about how they feel and smell. Make sure that none of the children in your class is allergic to strawberries.
