For farm animal week, how about cotton ball sheep?
Materials: cut out sheep, cotton balls, glue
Description: provide children a cut out sheep and tape it down to the table. Allow them to put glue on the sheep.  Younger toddlers can brush glue on their sheep and older toddlers can squeeze glue on their sheep and put cotton balls on their sheep.  This is always a fun activity they are developing fine motor skills, by using their small muscles.

We took a large sheet of white butcher paper and put glue all over the paper. We let the children place straw all over the paper on top of the glue. Afterwards we hung it on the wall on top of a picture of a wagon being pulled by a tractor and we had a hay ride on the wall. It made a big mess but the kids loved it.

-Baa Baa White Sheep- (This is best to do with two or three toddlers at one time) Provide each child with a picture of a sheep on dark construction paper. You smear glue on the sheep, then let the children put cotton balls on the sheep anywhere they want.

Have children use chocolate pudding (mud) to paint pink pigs cut out of construction paper.
