100 Animals I went to the zoo And what did I see? 100 animals Looking at me. There were, 10 tall giraffes, eating from the trees. 10 silly monkeys, scratching on their knees. 10 sleeping snakes, lying in the sun. 10 munching elephants, eating peanuts one by one. 10 leaping tigers, performing in the shows, 10 pink flamingos, standing on their toes. 10 grouchy bears, trying to get some sleep.

The Animal Fair: (This is an oldie and I just put this one to my own tunes since I didn't remember the original one)

I went to the animal fair, the birds and beasts were there.
The big baboon by the light of the moon, was combing his auburn hair.
You ought to have seen the monk, he climbed up the elephants trunk,
The elephant sneezed and fell to his knees

I made up this chant and did it with my Mommy and Me class I teach (Hi Christina and Maddie; Lisa and Lauren; Andrea and Michael; Jenny and Joseph; Carolyn and Melissa; Sandy and Javier; Ana and Naomi; Catherine and Jeri and Dan; Ilene and Mark). They had lots of fun :)
