Idea:

With my Preschoolers we made yellow yo-yo's for our color of the month and our letter of the week! all i had them do is cut out the yo-yo themselves and then had them color it a little bit and then had them glue the string on and then hung them up the parents loved them after u tell them what its is of course lol the kids loved it as well!
