5-18-00Fold a piece of construction paper in half length-wise. Cut out a handle shape and glue to the top edge. Have the children go through magazines and catalogs and cut out things they would pack to take on a trip (don't forget toiletries and favorite stuffed animal). Have the children glue these on the inside of their suitcase. If you can get luggage tags from an airline (Any parents airline employees?) attach to the handle with child's name and vacation destination of their choice. 5-9-00 Go to AAA or request free travel guides from different states. Have the
children cut out pictures from the travel guides and make a collage on
paper. Ask the children to dictate a story about their vacation
destination!
