Idea:

My class love to experiment with food ideas. We make Haystacks for a treat with our theme for Scarecrows.

You need Chinese noodles and peanut butter. Let the children mix them together and drop in little stacks on wax paper. They can eat them right away.

If you want to melt butterscotch candy morsels; or the white almond block candy to let them mix it together you would have to let it cool completely. Both are good. The children love to make their own snack.
