Classroom paper plate snake

Cut paper plates in half and cut out the center part. Have each child decorate their snake section with crayons, markers or even glitter. To display the snake, hang each section on a wall joining each section together to form a long, winding snake. Add a head with a long construction paper tongue. Wiggly eyes look great too.

Paper plate snake: take a paper plate and draw a line that goes round and round from one edge to the middle of the plate. The child can then cut on the line and then paint with green and brown paint (or use crayons).
