Create an area of the room that children can go to resolve conflicts with each other. Call it the "Peace Center". Post pictures of children talking to each other, post rules that you have written on sentence strips or charts. Cover a table with the peace sign for the children to sit around. After a while you will notice children automatically going to the "Peace Table" to work things out! At first, you may have to help the children work through the words to use and negotiation but it works!
