Idea:

In the water table I fill one tub with warm water and one with cool water. It gives a very tactile experience with opposites.

Using different objects, talk about heavy and light. Ask children to predict which object is heavier, which is lighter. Test the results on a small balance.

Idea:  Opposites-wet/dry

What's the Matter?

Cornstarch, and water mixed together to make a wet/dry consistency of liquid. Sometimes it feels wet, sometimes it is dry. Place the matter on a tray and let them play with it like finger paint.
