Ladybugs

idea

I purchase ladybugs at a garden store and have a lady bug release for the last day of school. I put 20-25 bugs in envelopes and carefully sealed them loosely. Then each child got an envelope and we counted down from 10 and each released our bugs at the same time. We put them on plants and in the grass. We had been studying bugs and this was our contribution to a healthy environment at our school.
