10-23-00We make orange and red Jell-O Jigglers for snack then we give each child a couple of squares of each color and then they spray Reddi Whip on the Jell-O to put out the flames. The kids LOVE it.
10-17-000Fire Safety Snack Use one whole graham cracker. Spread a thin layer of red frosting on top. Add Oreo cookies for wheels, black licorice stick for ladder and one "Dot" candy for the light on top of the fire truck. Enjoy!
10-16-00 Fire truck Sandwiches. Toast on slice of bread for each student. Cut bread in half. Cut on of the halves in half again to make two squares. now you have one rectangle piece and 2 square pieces. Use the rectangular slice for the body of the truck, add one square piece to the front of the truck and add the other square piece to the top of the rectangle piece to make the trucks "cab". Add red food coloring to some softened cream cheese and spread onto fire truck. Use pretzel sticks to make a ladder and Ritz crackers for the wheels. You can even add a red jelly bean on top for the light.
