Duck Science
8-23-00 You know the old saying, "Just let it run off like water on a ducks back." Why not find out if the old saying is true! Find someone who raises ducks and get quite a few feathers. You could also go to a park where they have ducks and gather feathers. Get eye droppers and several plastic cafeteria trays and place them on the science table with the duck feathers. Let the children experiment with the water and the feathers.
