Area: Chocolate

Idea:

When we do the theme chocolate in our classroom, I buy chocolate wafers from the local bulk food store. My helper and I melt them in the microwave slowly so not to burn. Then we put the melted chocolate into Dixie cups and let the kids pour them into the molds. Set aside until hard. They should pop out of the molds cleanly when done. You can get molds for anytime of the year. We have made Christmas chocolates as well as spring themes. We try to make at least 5 per kid that way they can have one at snack and take a couple home.
