ideaLet the children marble paint on a piece of construction paper. Cut the paper into bookmarks and laminate. With permanent marker the parents can write on the back the child's name, the name he calls that grandparent and the date.
ideaOn Grandparent's Day I invite the grandparents to come in for a luncheon and the children eat with them. We play Thanksgiving bingo and make a simple craft. They really enjoy this special day. Date: 10-31-99ideaOur class sent cards to our grandparents. Inside the card we sent the school's address along with a note to please write back. For the next three weeks we all enjoyed hearing from our grandparents. I also made a special bulletin board, at the children's eye level, to show off our special mail. Date: 10-11-99 |
