Class Description

In order for you to participate in this class, you will need:

A working printer

And

EITHER Microsoft Works or Microsoft Word installed on your computer (you just need one of these programs, not both).

You asked and I obeyed!!!! Many of you have written to me asking for a class that deals specifically with using your computer to create learning materials.

You will learn how to make:

1. Customized lesson plans.

2. Professional development portfolios.

3. Class calendars.

4. Class newsletters.

5. Custom stickers for your classroom.

6. Theme based magnets.

7. Theme based learning games.

8. .....And much much more!!!!!

Each student will have access to an online classroom where we will meet once a week. In addition, a workshop web site is provided where they will have access to:

Downloadable files

Class polls

Communication with each other through the class message board

Pictorial examples of many of the art activities

At the end of the workshop, students will have gained a new appreciation for art in the classroom along with a HUGE resource of activities, ideas, and web sites to help put into action what they have learned.
