Idea:
At Sumter County Primary School in Americus, Georgia, we invite our grandparents to join us for breakfast. We call this special occasion "Grits for Grandparents".
After breakfast, my class will sing this special song.

Every year our school has "Grandfriends Day" and I am always looking for good songs. This year one of my three-year-olds made up this song for us to sing. (tune: "Frere Jacques") Grandparents, grandparents' I love you; I love you. I love you very much I love you very much Makes me feel good Makes me feel good.

We sang this song for our GrandFriends and then handed them a little red box with a Hershey kiss inside. "Oh I wish I had a little red box to put my Grand Friend in I'd take them out go how-do-you-do and put them back again. Repeat but instead of saying how-do-you-do, say "go kiss-kiss-kiss" and "go hug-hug-hug"
