Pass The Dreidel Play this game during circle time. Gather several dreidels. Give one dreidel to a child and sing the song below. The child who is holding the dreidel at the end of the song, should spin it or stand up and spin like a dreidel. Give a second child a dreidel and pass two dreidels around while singing the song. Continue until you run out of dreidels. Pass One Dreidel Sung to Mary Had a Little Lamb Pass one dreidel round and round Round and round, round and round Pass one dreidel round and round Round the circle. Pass two dreidel's... Pass three dreidel's... Pass four dreidel's... Hide The Chocolate Gelt When the chidren are out of the room or busy with an activity, hide the chocolate gelt around the room. Just before it's time to go home, tell the children that there is a treat hidden around the room for each of them. Have the children hunt for their treat. Taking turns have one child at a time roll walnut and try to hit walnut against wall. If there's a hit, they collect all the nuts. As children through the nuts more targets are created. The children love this game!
