Idea:
My Kindergarten class is doing a Poetry Puppet Show for the parents. Each child
chooses a simple poem to memorize. Next they make a puppet to go along with the
poem. We talk about the main idea and the main character to help generate ideas.
The puppets can be made from socks, bags, boxes or anything that works! After a
few days of practice we invite the parents in for the show! I have a puppet
stand made from an old sheet and pvc plastic pipe.
Your Hands are big
MY hands Are small
Soon I'll be Like u
I hope it's not Too Long
But now I'm very Little
And need your Help each Day
