Labor Day
9-2-00For Labor day we make thank you cards for all the people in our school who do things for us...our cook, our custodians, other teachers that the children have had in previous classrooms. The kids enjoy delivering the cards and saying thank you to all the people who help us out with the jobs that they do.
9-2-00We make a poster for Labor Day using magazine pictures of People doing their jobs (fire fighters, police, teachers, etc). We talk about all these jobs and how they help us and talk about what we want to be when we grow up.
