Date: 1-31-00After reading the children a story about the inventor Garret Morgen (inventor of the traffic light) Play the game red-light-green light-one two three. Have one child be it. Have them stand a distance from the other children with their back turn chanting red light green light one two three as this child chants the other children try to sneak up on the child to tag them. after the child chanting says one two three they turn around to try to catch the children running up to them. The children running freeze when the child chanting turns around. if the child that was chanting catches anyone running before they have a chance to free.
