Idea:

I made up this song in honor of Independence Day. It goes to the tune of "I'm A Little Teapot"

I'm a little firework
Up in the sky.
I dance and I shimmer
Way up, up high.

Sometimes I'm red.
Sometimes I'm blue.
But I always sparkle
Just for you.

I'm a little firework
Up in the sky.
I dance and I shimmer
Way up, up high

I made this song up myself. As we are singing, we have flags we have all made and are marching. A good way to teach colors, too. Goes to a patriotic tune

Red, white and blue,
Red, white and blue
These are the colors in our flag
Red, white and blue
Red, white and blue
These are the colors in our flag
We live here in the United States, everyone jump and shout hurray (hurray!) Red, white and blue, Red, white and blue These are the colors in our flag

Idea:

I wrote this song for a parade/presentation we are doing for our company (we are an on-site facility). We will sing it while parading to our flagpoles to sing patriotic songs. . .

"We Go Marching"
Sung to: "Ants Go Marching"

We go marching one by one- hurrah, hurrah.
To sing some song and have some fun- hurrah, hurrah.
We go marching one by one to sing some song and have some fun, And we all go marching to the poles for the forth of July- Boom, Boom, Boom.

Other verses:
. . .two by two
To honor the red, WHITE and blue.
. . .three by three
To celebrate the fact we're free.
. . .four by four
To remember those who fought before.
. . .five by five
to thank our soldiers that we're alive.
