Creative Art For Preschoolers

Class Description

This class will provide students with many ideas for creative art activities that can be introduced to children as fun, hands-on learning experiences.

Each activity will give the children opportunities to work independently while improving certain skills that are vital to preschool children's development. The activities that will be introduced are open-ended and child centered. Instructor will also be giving students ideas on how to introduce and incorporate these projects into different themes and curriculum areas of a preschool classroom.

Each student will have access to an online classroom where we will meet once a week. In addition, a workshop web site is provided where they will have access to:

Pictorial examples of many of the art activities

At the end of the workshop, students will have gained a new appreciation for art in the classroom along with a HUGE resource of activities, ideas, and web sites to help put into action what they have learned.
