Class Description

Due to economic cutbacks, many educators and parents are faced with the dreaded "budget-itus." In other words, new and exciting learning materials for the children in your home and classroom can be scarce. However, with a few well-guided tips, creative ideas, and perseverance, you can help solve this dilemma. This four-week workshop will provide you with the tools you need to go out there and get going!

Each student will have access to an online classroom where we will meet once a week. In addition, a workshop web site is provided where they will have access to:

Downloadable files
Class polls
Communication with each other through the class message board
Pictorial examples of many of the activities

At the end of the workshop, students will have gained a HUGE resource of activities, ideas, and web sites to help put into action what they have learned.
