Idea:

You can collect toy objects or cut out magazine pictures of the following objects: the world, a flower, an orange, a puppy, parents, and a Bible. Find small gift boxes to place each item in, saving the most beautiful one for the Bible. Have the children open these gifts in order with the following poem;

Gifts From God

Here is the world so big and so round.

Here is a flower that grows on the ground.

Here is an orange so juicy and sweet.

Here is a puppy to play at my feet.

Here are my parent's so straight and so tall.

But this gift of God's is the best gift of all.

The Bible Game Have children to sit in a circle and pass a bible around and sing: The "Bible Song" "The bible, Yes! that's the book for me, I stand alone on the word of God." "The bible" When the bible lands in a child's hand, ask him or her what their favorite bible verse or bible story is (continue and go to the next child and so on).
